How Do I Order Photography and Other Services?

Submit a service request at we will get back to you to confirm. I do not require a deposit from Realtors. Schedule as far in advance as possible to ensure you can get your requested time, 3-7 days is usually good. I understand how real estate works so I do try to accommodate last minute request. Regular clients should have my cell number and may text me with date and address.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Photo And Other Media Back After The Session?

3D Tours back next day, Photo files and by 11:59 pm following day. Need rush? No problem, just make sure to let us know if needed back quicker, Rush jobs will be delivered by the following day by 11:59 am. Virtual Staging 48 hours.

How Do I Pay?

Most people pay online with a credit card, However if you prefer to pay by check you can mail it to our address, or give at job site. Once you receive a invoice, there is a button on the invoice to pay. For Realtors invoices are sent out after the shoot, usually by the following morning and are due upon receipt. If you are a new client and need net 15 or 30 please request before booking the session.

How Will I Receive My Files?

We do not host your files and cannot guarantee we will have them for more than 90 days after delivery, so please save them. We will email you to notify that job is complete and give you a Dropbox link, Please let us know if you have a different delivery preference and we will try to accommodate. For 3D tours we will send an email with the URLs, embed codes are available.

Will The Photographer Stage My Property?

No. Not unless we are notified and agreed upon in advance. We will move small items if by moving a few things will make a great shot. Here is a list of things to do before we arrive. I do not guarantee the moving of things unless previously notified and agreed upon. Photoshop item removal is available upon request, fee assessed.

What Is Virtual Staging and do you do that.

Yes we do. Check with your local MLS to see if allowed and if allowed you must always disclose that the photo has been “Virtually Staged” Including fire in the fire place.

Do I Own The Photos?

You have a license to use them to market the listing of real estate, on the MLS, web, and print. The license expires when the listing closes or 1 year from date of service. If the original broker still has the active listing license we will extend until expiration or close. Image rights are the sole property off Virtual Vista. Rights assigned to clients will be revoked if there is infringement. Virtual Vista holds the sole right to license the use images to other clients. MLS versions of the images with watermark must on the MLS and Online. If your association does not allow that you are permitted to use without the watermark. For all other uses other than real estate listing please contact us for more information.

Do I own the Matterport 3D ? Matterport, inc. is the sole owner of any Matterport Tours, they host all files, see their terms here Virtual Vista is a service partner and has a hosting account. Virtual Vista will host all real estate listings until the listing either closes or expires, or directed otherwise from the client. If you you are a Real Estate Agent and have a stager, builder, designer, etc that would like copies to market their work please have them contact us directly for licensing.

Do You Have A Cancellation Policy?

We try not to have unplanned down time in our schedule, that is lost revenue and not good for business. However I do understand that things do happen from time to time that are unpredictable and that is why I will extend 1 (ONE) last minute cancellation, which is less than 24 hours per year. All other last minute cancelation will be billed at $100 per occurrence. What is your cancelation policy for weather? This only applies to exteriors, I cannot fly the drone in high wind, above 15 mph and rain. If it is for drone service we will need to reschedule. We always include blue skies with all exteriors, so no need to worry if the skies are grey.

What Hours Do You Operate?

Our regular hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm, outside of these hours add $100 (this is often waived for regular clientele)

Anything within a 20 mile radius of Oak Brook is included, outside of that milage is at $2/mile over 20 miles. (if your a regular client ask us about waiving this)

If you are not 100% satisfied with the delivered files, please contact us for a resolution. We can work with you to remedy the situation. If something was missed and was our fault we will go back out a no charge. We will work with you until you are 100% happy. The best outcome from every job is a happy client that tells their associates about us.
